Can ideas about atonement, so central to Jewish ritual and thought, help us think about – and hopefully redress – historic wrongs?

Suzanne Schneider, Deputy Director at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, explores the tools and concepts within the Jewish textual tradition that might help us formulate a response to this critical social and political need, placing them in conversation with more contemporary thinkers including Primo Levi and Walter Benjamin.

This members-only lecture will be followed by an object talk in the Museum's Core Exhibition and a lunch discussion.

$36 (includes lunch)

Registration required; space extremely limited
