Czech-Jewish historian Pavel Batel will share his extensive knowledge of the Theresienstadt (Terezin) concentration camp, focusing on Jewish inmates who became unlikely heroes in their struggle to maintain life, religion, and hope under the most infernal conditions.
This lecture will follow a guided tour of the Rendering Witness exhibition with curator Michael Morris. Note: due to limited space, we can accept a limited number of tour participants. Please email PubProg@mjhnyc.org to register.
