About the Talk:

This talk, led by genealogist Caitlin Hollander Waas, delves into the growing interest among Jewish descendants in reclaiming citizenship in a variety of EU countries, with a focus on Poland, Germany, and Hungary—a move often motivated by today’s uncertain climate. Caitlin will share practical insights drawn from personal and professional experience, such as the steps of retrieving documentation, avoiding common pitfalls, and navigating the citizenship process with clarity.
