This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday November 17

12:30 PM  –  4:30 PM

The earliest recorded interviews of Holocaust survivors were conducted by pioneering individuals and organizations. In some cases, the interviewers were survivors themselves. At this seminar, Dr. Alan Rosen from Yad Vashem will describe the groundbreaking David Boder interviews of 1946, and Stephen Naron from Yale University will highlight the grassroots beginnings of the Yale Fortunoff Video Archive. Educator and researcher Rachel Licht will speak about her work with Professor Yaffa Eliach at the Center for Holocaust Studies, Documentation and Research, which was founded by Professor Eliach and was the first organization in the United States dedicated to the study of the Holocaust.

Shoah Teaching Alternatives for Jewish Educators (STAJE) at the Museum of Jewish of Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is a professional development program for teachers in Jewish schools that is offered at no charge.

Advance registration is required.
