At our monthly Stories Survive Speaker Series, hear a Holocaust survivor, WWII veteran, teacher, or descendant of a survivor share their life story in their own words. 

 

Born in New York on September 11th, 1920 to Russian-Jewish immigrants, Eugene Polinsky studied public education at Rutgers and enlisted in the Army Air Corps after Pearl Harbor. He became a navigator, joining a crew of seven and flying 35 secret missions for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) dropping spies and supplies out of B-24 Liberators to support the European Resistance in the occupied countries.
