In the 1960 epic film Exodus (210 minutes, English, no subtitles), Paul Newman stars as Ari Ben Canaan, a Haganah rebel who smuggles Jews out of a British internment camp and onto a ship bound for Palestine. Facing the challenges of deep-rooted antisemitism and British rule over Palestine, Ari fights for his homeland and his people.

Exodus won an Academy Award for Best Original Score and played a significant role in inspiring support for Israel in the United States when it was first released.

The film will be screened in person in the Museum's Edmond J. Safra Hall. Tickets are $5 each for Museum members or $10 each for the general public. If you're not a member, join today. If you're already a member, log in and the member discount will be reflected in your cart.
