Playing for Life: Art Under Tyranny

With a special performance by Eugene Drucker, master violinist of the Emerson String Quartet

Gail Prensky, creator and executive producer of the Jüdischer Kulturbund Project, discusses the history and relevance of the Holocaust-era organization of German Jewish artists and musicians. Eugene Drucker then takes the stage to perform Bach’s Chaconne and speaks about his father’s experiences as a member of the Kulturbund.
